Kamay Visitors Centre (current)
Gartner Rose has been appointed by NSW Public Works and the National Parks and Wildlife Service NSW for the construction of Kamay Visitors Centre.
Located within Kamay Botany Bay National Park, the scope of works will include, but not limited to:
- Demolition of the existing visitors centre
- Construction of new visitors centre
- Upgrade of visitors centre carpark to make DDA compliant, inclusive of landscaping, kerb, gutters, road resurfacing and stormwater connections to the visitors centre loop road
- Construction of the cricket pitch amenity building
- Construction of new cricket pitch carpark
- Construction of a new vehicular and path connections to Alpha House
- Creation of a path from the visitors centre to the foreshore
- Major service upgrades back to support the new visitors centre including a fire main, new booster pump room, high voltage electric upgrades, other electrical connections and new sewer rising main infrastructure
- Creek daylighting and bridge over the freshwater stream
